Who is responsible
Pluto Advisory, Gerald Pachoud titulaire, 14, rue François-Grast, 1208 Geneva, Switzerland, is the controller responsible for the personal data processed through this website.
For any question about this policy or about your data:
contact@pluto-advisory.com
What we collect
Data you provide. When you use the contact form or write to us, we collect your name, organisation, email address and the content of your message.
Data collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records technical data including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages visited and time of visit. This is standard server logging, used to operate and secure the site.
We do not collect special categories of personal data through this website, and we ask you not to send sensitive information through the contact form.
Why we process it, and on what basis
We process your data to respond to your enquiry, to manage any relationship that follows, to operate and secure the website, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business; the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual steps where an engagement follows; and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.
We do not use your data for marketing. We do not sell, rent or trade it.
Who has access
Our hosting provider. Wix.com Ltd. processes data on our behalf and may store it outside Switzerland, including in the United States and the European Economic Area, under contractual safeguards intended to ensure an adequate level of protection.
Others. We disclose personal data to third parties only where required by law, by a competent authority or by a court, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Transfers outside Switzerland
Some of the processing described above involves transfers outside Switzerland and the EEA. Where a destination country does not offer an equivalent level of protection, transfers are made on the basis of appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Where an engagement follows, records are kept for its duration and for the retention periods required by Swiss law — in particular ten years for accounting records. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and under the GDPR where it applies, you have the right to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request deletion, to request restriction of processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@pluto-advisory.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If you consider that your data has been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch) or, in the EEA, with your local supervisory authority.
Confidentiality of enquiries
Messages sent through this website are not privileged or confidential communications. Please do not send detailed information about a live matter through the contact form. Where an enquiry concerns a sensitive or confidential situation, we will agree a secure channel with you before anything further is shared.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed entirely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above indicates the current version.
Cookies
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to function and, in some cases, to recognise your device on a later visit.
Which cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies. Our hosting provider sets a small number of cookies required for the site to function — session management, security and load balancing. The site cannot operate properly without them, and they do not require your consent.
We do not use advertising, tracking or profiling cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
